Dialysis

 Hemodialysis facility is available in the hospital round the clock at a subsidized cost. Seven machines are available for dialysis, one of which is dedicated for HbsAg positive patients in a separate cubicle. Approximately, 300-350 dialyses are being done per month as of now. Temporary access, namely, Internal Jugular / Femoral / SC and renal biopsies are done. Permanent accesses are placed by our Urologists. The water treatment consists of state-of-the-art Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant. 

The Dialysis Unit consists of a Nephrologist, Nephrology & Dialysis Medical Officer, Technicians, Nursing staff with a 1:3 ratio, nursing orderly and house-keeping staff. Student nurses are also posted in the unit on a rotary basis.
